In this, our third week of summer camps, the focus has been on pirates and battles!
Creative Drama - Swashbucklers & Scalawags, has been focusing on creating original pirate characters, complete with eye patches, shoulder parrots, hooks, and good old fashioned pirate speak. Their original pirate play portends perilous predicaments for the intrepid seafarers, including a trip to outer space!
Meanwhile, over at Richard III camp, the youth campers have joined the teens and are busy putting on the best show they can, including the Battle of the Roses! As the teens direct the youth campers, they are also being directed by camp staff, creating Richard III as a single complete play with shared roles and multiple directors, all by the end of next week!
